Last Friday, the United Nations ended 2022 much as it began — by attacking Israel.

In an unsurprising 86-27 vote, the international body passed a resolution demanding that the international court at The Hague investigate Israel’s use of its own territories.

Claiming that the Jewish state should face “legal consequences arising from the ongoing violation by Israel of the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination,” the resolution also contends that Israel is “altering the demographic composition, character and status” of the Holy City of Jerusalem.

The resolution received nearly unanimous support from Arab nations, including those that have “normalized” relations with Israel.

Palestinian Ambassador to the U.N. Riyad Mansour thanked those countries, saying, “We trust that regardless of your vote today, if you believe in international law and peace, you will uphold the opinion of the International Court of Justice, when delivered,” and requested countries “stand up” to Israel.

By “stand up,” Mansour means DESTROY. Mansour has a long history of anti-Israel hate. In 2015, he tried to float the ridiculous claim that the Israeli Army was stealing body organs from Palestinians.

Last August, when the Palestinian Islamic Jihad bombarded Israeli civilians with 1,100 rockets, Mansour blamed Israelis, continuing the false claim that Israel is occupying Palestinian land.

These outrageous anti-Jewish attacks are happening right in our own back yard and on our dime, thanks to the U.N.’s location in New York City and a flood of U.S. taxpayer dollars to prop up the international body.

In 2020 alone, the U.S. gave the United Nations more than 11 billion dollars — more than one-fifth of the U.N.’s total budget — and more than any other country in the world.

And that hard-earned U.S. taxpayer money funded more anti-Israel resolutions than any other country in history.

WE — and by that, I mean YOU AND ME — are paying for these attacks on Israel. It is time for the U.N.’s anti-Israel free ride to end.

Please join me in demanding that the newly seated House of Representatives, which controls the U.S. government’s purse strings, DEFUND the U.N.
