Bleeding Israeli Mom: "Please Help!"

A safe room could not protect this family from Hamas’ Iran-funded rockets. For the Israeli people, 2022 was a year of nearly constant terror. But a new U.N. commission report IGNORED the attack and MILLIONS of other Jewish victims. Instead, the report demonizes and criminalizes the Jewish state—and YOUR tax dollars help pay for it.

It is time to denounce, resign from and defund the United Nations. Please, join me in faxing Congress now. Then read on for the news. —Mat

The siren suddenly blared. With just seconds to spare, 5-year-old Ido Avigal’s mother whisked her little boy into their home’s safe room in Sderot, Israel.

They made it, but a Hamas rocket struck nearby. Razor-sharp shrapnel tore through the safe room’s armored window. As Ido’s mom later shared, the twisted metal flayed open her son’s belly, ripping a gash that exposed his internal organs. It happened in milliseconds.

Severely wounded herself and bleeding badly, Ido’s mom called the police. “My son and I are dying. Please, hurry!” She survived. Little Ido did not.

His heinous murder brought merriment to Hamas-ruled Gaza. “Candy was handed out in celebration of the death of my son,” his mother said.

More than 4,300 Hamas rockets and missiles rained down on Israel in May 2021. The unprovoked 11-day Hamas barrage killed 13 Israelis, Ido included, and injured hundreds more.

+ + U.N. TURNS BLIND EYE TO PALESTINIAN TERROR + +

But a flagrantly one-sided U.N. report in October said NOTHING about Ido’s death or the relentless Hamas rocketing that terrorized Israeli civilians.

Instead, the U.N. Commission of Inquiry’s three bitterly anti-Israel investigators charged Israel with occupying “Palestinian land.”

And they detailed a litany of other accusations against Israel—“all undated, unsigned, anonymous accusations” without even a footnote, as U.N. critic Anne Bayefsky pointed out.

Meanwhile, Bayefsky organized the submission of more than 5 MILLION statements from Jewish victims of Palestinian “discrimination and repression.”

All told, it was an unprecedented outpouring of testimony pointing the finger at Palestinian terror. But the so-called Commission of Inquiry ignored it ALL!

“I’ve not seen them, personally,” Commission Chair Navi Pillay said in a staggering admission of the commission’s blind eye to Palestinian hate for Israel.

Pillay has a long record of anti-Israel bigotry, slandering it as an “apartheid” state and calling for a boycott of Israel. It is no surprise, then, that Pillay’s commission report attacked Israel for its alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity.

The word “Israel” is used 277 times in the highly prejudicial 28-page report. But “Hamas,” “terror” and “rocket” never appear. Nor does the name “Ido.”

You and I must raise our voices to protest this monstrous assault on Israel.

The Commission of Inquiry is nothing more than a heavily funded U.N. inquisition created to malign and demonize the Jewish state. And it has an open-ended mandate to do so—with no end date for what some call “Pillay’s Pogrom.”

Its aim is to make Israel a pariah ... to criminalize and eliminate the Jewish state. I ask you to please sign our petition and fax Congress now demanding a full investigation into the U.N.’s outrageous and destabilizing actions.

And as you do, please make your most generous gift to help CIDI fight for Israel at this crucial moment for Israel and the U.S.-Israel relationship. Your generosity enables Christians in Defense of Israel to make a pro-Israel difference in the halls of power in Washington, D.C., the Middle East and throughout the nation. Please stand with us to bless Israel by giving generously.
