Who Is to Blame for Middle East Turmoil?

The Saudi government has turned its back on the United States, thanks to Joe Biden’s continued pursuit of a new Iran Deal. The Saudis know, almost as well as the Israelis, exactly what will happen if Biden continues to empower Iran—it will be the end of the Middle East, and potentially the entire world, as we know it.

Read on to see what the Saudis have to say about the feckless Biden administration, and how you and I can help protect the Holy Land. — Mat

STOP WWIII – STOP the IRAN DEAL

Joe Biden isn’t making any friends in the Middle East. In fact, Biden’s continued pursuit of a new nuclear deal with the Iranian ayatollah is destroying longstanding U.S. relations, not just with Israel, but also with America’s former allies in the region.

When Biden’s Russian foreign policy blunders caused gas prices to rise last March, his Iran Deal negotiators thought they could ease gas prices by allowing Iran to export oil again.

The move was so shockingly wrongheaded that when Joe Biden attempted to call the Saudi king about it, the Saudis refused to take Biden’s call.

Fast-forward seven months, and relations between the U.S. and our Middle Eastern allies have only deteriorated. Our former allies lay the blame directly at Joe Biden’s feet.

"Biden was the one who decided to pursue a hostile policy towards the [Arab] allies,” says Syrian author Abdul Jalil Al-Saeid. “He and his team were the ones who gave in to America's enemies and went looking for nuclear agreements that are fraught with flaws and harm to many of America's friends."

The Saudis, seeking to protect themselves and the Middle East from Biden’s blunders, led OPEC (Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries) to slow oil production—and oil prices are again expected to soar just as winter sets in on the western world.

"[T]his relationship [between the U.S. and Saudi Arabia] should be based on reciprocity,” writes pundit Rami Al-Khalifa. “If Washington is looking for its own interests, as with the Iran nuclear deal or the cancellation of the [Iranian-backed] Houthi group's designation as a terrorist group, Saudi Arabia also has the right to seek its own interests...."

But instead of listening to the regional stakeholders that will be most impacted by the Iran Deal, Biden chose to threaten one of our allies in the region, Saudi Arabia.

On October 11, Biden announced that “there will be consequences” for the Saudi refusal to follow Biden’s disastrous lead. White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre doubled down on the threat, stating that the Biden administration would be conducting a “policy review” of U.S.-Saudi relations.

Saudi policy expert and columnist Mashari Althaydi condemned the Biden administration’s "threats and intimidation." And he’s not the only one.

“I can't understand President Biden's behavior and policy," said Saudi commentator Abdo Khal.

"He is at odds with his country's interests and is complicating many issues, specifically regarding his attitude towards Saudi Arabia. He has established a policy that is based on hostility towards Saudi Arabia."

Khal noted that Biden appears to be determined to undermine U.S.-Saudi relations.

"If Biden has ordered the U.S. National Security Council to conduct a re-evaluation of the relationship between the two sides, Saudi Arabia is also able to evaluate is relationship with the U.S. This is a legitimate right."

But Israel clearly has the most to lose from Biden’s new Iran Deal. The mullahs in Tehran have never made a secret of Iran’s desire to wipe the Jewish state off the map. But as our allies’ comments show, Biden’s “ayatollah appeasement” campaign is destabilizing the entire Middle East—and, in turn, it is impacting the entire world.

We can stop this looming disaster by pressing the United States Senate to put a stop to Biden’s insane Iran Deal plans.

Please, even if you have done so before, fax the Senate and demand they put a stop to Joe Biden’s insane deal before it destroys the Middle East. Demand the Senate STAND WITH ISRAEL and STOP THE IRAN DEAL.

As you do, please also prayerfully consider making a recurring monthly donation to support our vital mission on Capitol Hill and around the world, defending Israel. We cannot do this important work without you! Please, give generously today.
