The Palestinian Flag On the Beast

Joe Biden smiled big, gave fist bumps, spoke warm words ... and slipped Israel the knife. In today’s email, learn how it played out, and what we must do now to protect the Jewish state from Joe Biden’s plans to divide it. — Mat

Joe Biden smiled broadly, bumped fists, spoke glowing words of friendship with Israel—and then stabbed the Jewish state in the back.

You may have watched it on television ...

Minutes after Air Force One touched down in Israel last month, Biden stood on the Tel Aviv tarmac in withering heat and told Israelis that the U.S. connection to Israel is “bone deep ... bone deep.”

Biden insisted America’s relationship with Israel is now “deeper and stronger ... than it’s ever been.”

But two days later, Biden did something NO U.S. president has ever done. He stabbed the Jewish state at its most sensitive point—the Holy City of Jerusalem.

During his long-awaited trip to Israel, Biden paid a visit to so-called “East Jerusalem.” It is the heart of Israel’s eternal capital, and a precinct Palestinians covet as the future capital of “Palestine.”

From the Palestinian perspective, “East Jerusalem” is Israeli-occupied territory. Yet, it is biblical Jerusalem. It is where David ruled and Jesus walked. Among its landmarks are the Temple Mount and the Western Wall—Judaism’s holiest sites.

But Palestinians claim it for themselves—without a speck of evidence from history or international law. And Joe Biden just endorsed their claim.

Biden’s unprecedented visit to eastern Jerusalem was a powerful diplomatic gesture. Not only has no U.S. president ever toured eastern Jerusalem, but ever since President Donald Trump recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s capital in 2017, Israeli officials have ALWAYS gone with U.S. officials when visiting that portion of Jerusalem.

But Joe Biden went alone—unaccompanied by his Israeli hosts—as he visited an Arab neighborhood in Israel’s eternal capital.

All this sent a strong signal of U.S. support for a divided Jerusalem—one in which Palestinians have an EQUAL share in the Jewish state’s 3,000-year-old capital city. And Biden made it painfully obvious that was exactly the message he INTENDED to send ...

The Biden team removed the Israeli flag flying on the front of the “Beast,” the presidential limo that had displayed U.S. and Israeli flags while in Israel UNTIL it entered Palestinian-claimed eastern Jerusalem.

Former Israeli Ambassador to the U.N. Danny Danon protested Biden’s treacherous act:

Today’s pictures of his limousine on its way to east Jerusalem, without the Israeli flag that has been flying at its helm until now, highlights the message he is trying to send; that the sovereignty of Jerusalem, Israel’s eternal capital, is on the table for negotiation.

Joe Biden’s continued anti-Israel actions make clear his position—he is not on the side of our great ally, Israel. No, Joe Biden stands with the Palestinians who want to rid Jerusalem, and all of Israel for that matter, of God’s chosen people.
