Thursday, January 13, four Iranian rockets screamed over Baghdad, aimed at the U.S. Embassy. The embassy took direct hits from three of the rockets. A fourth rocket, intended for the embassy, hit a nearby school. At least two women were seriously injured in the attack.

The rockets were fired by Iranian “proxies,” Middle Eastern militias funded by, and loyal to, the Ayatollah of Iran. Air defense systems were activated the moment the rocket fire began, and videos posted to social media show the defense system was able to knock several other rockets out of the sky before they could do additional damage.

Last Thursday’s attack was another in a recent surge of Iranian proxy attacks on U.S. interests and personnel in the region. The attacks follow pointed threats against America by Iranian officials made in recent weeks.

Iran is making good on its deadly promises to attack Americans.

Yet, almost unbelievably, Joe Biden seems unconcerned by both Iran’s threats and the subsequent attacks! The Biden administration, against all reason, CONTINUES to coddle Iran and appease the Ayatollah by failing to enforce the sanctions former President Trump put in place.

Those sanctions kept Iran’s nuclear program in check, while also starving Iran of the funds it needs to arm and deploy their terror-wielding proxies throughout the Middle East.

But Congress can counter Biden’s feckless policy by moving to enforce the Iran sanctions. Please join me in flooding congressional offices with demands that they immediately enforce the Iran sanctions, so that the peace President Trump achieved in the Middle East can be regained!
