Via a press release posted on Rep. Schiff’s website, 75 members of Congress are demanding that Biden “take the steps necessary to finally close the prison” to “ensure that the remaining detainees are treated humanely” and to “act immediately to further reduce its population.”

Schiff, Omar and company go on to request that some of the imprisoned jihadis be tried in U.S. courts and put into the U.S. prison system—a key recruiting ground for future terrorists. But if that is not bad enough, the letter further requests that “the detainees should be repatriated to their home countries or settled in third countries with appropriate conditions and assurances for both their treatment and U.S. security.”

That “repatriation” is exactly how Sirajuddin Haqqani—who landed on the FBI’s Most Wanted list after Joe Biden and Barack Obama freed him in 2014—made his way to Kabul to become the Taliban’s new “interior minister.”

The remaining jihadis imprisoned at Guantanamo Bay have remained there all this time because they were considered the worst of the worst, too dangerous to ever be released. But if Schiff, Ilhan and Biden get their way, these violent men, who have vowed their lives to destroy Israel and America, will be free to fulfill their jihadi oaths.

Closing Guantanamo Bay will only further endanger Israel and America.
