You’ve probably heard that global ice cream giant Ben & Jerry’s just picked a major fight with Israel. This ultra-woke firm already backs radical causes like Black Lives Matter and the Defund the Police movement.

But now it is boycotting Israel!

In late July, Ben & Jerry’s announced it will not sell its products in what it called the “Occupied Palestinian Territories (OPT)”—a bogus term that constitutes an outrageous slander against the Jewish state.

The so-called “Occupied Palestinian Territories” are, in fact, Judea and Samaria—Israel’s biblical heartland and home today to some 800,000 Jewish Israelis.

It is territory Israel captured in 1967 after Jordan attacked the Jewish state in a failed attempt to drive it into the sea. It is land that God promised Abraham and His descendants 4,000 years ago ... and land to which Israel has a legitimate claim under international law.

Anti-BDS laws were created to stop exactly the kind of rank antisemitism Ben & Jerry’s/Unilever is now employing. It’s time to make Ben & Jerry’s OBEY THE LAW. But to do that, we need anti-BDS states to ENFORCE THE LAW.

But now, Ben & Jerry’s won’t sell its ice cream in Judea and Samaria. And Israel’s enemies are THRILLED ...

• The Palestinian Authority, which gives millions each year to terrorists who attack and kill Israeli civilians—even children—applauded Ben & Jerry’s for its “legal” and “moral” decision.

• And the terror-linked BDS movement praised Ben & Jerry’s for its “decisive step towards ending the company’s complicity in Israel’s occupation and violations of Palestinian rights.”

But a boycott of Judea and Samaria is not enough for BDS, which exists to destroy Israel. It also demands that Ben & Jerry's boycott ALL of Israel, stating "there can be no business as usual with apartheid Israel."

Already, 35 states have anti-BDS laws on their books. We are calling on each of their governors to use existing anti-BDS laws to end Ben and Jerry’s anti-Israel campaign.

It is shocking to think that just one year ago, we had the most pro-Israel administration in history. Yet, in one short year the new administration has turned against our greatest Middle East ally—an action that is fueling the new crush of antisemitism poisoning America and the world.
