As I previously reported, the International Criminal Court’s chief prosecutor, a Muslim, is now alleging that Israelis have committed "war crimes" against Palestinians.

And one violation supposedly committed by Jewish Israelis is the "crime" of living in the land of their ancestors.

Because of the ICC prosecutor's absurd allegations, Jewish people living in Judea and Samaria—Israel's biblical heartland—may face the ludicrous charge of living in their ancient homeland.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called the proposed charge "pure anti-Semitism."

It could be used to throw Israelis living in Judea and Samaria—including the Jordan Valley—from their homes. That's what will happen if the Palestinians who brought the complaint to the ICC that got all this started, get their way.

But the future of the Israelis who make their homes in the Jordan Valley is not the only key issue at stake. Just as important is national security. The Jordan Valley represents a key strategic asset necessary to protect Israel's other populations centers and air space.

U.S. support for Israel’s formal annexation of the Jordan Valley would greatly assist Israel in protecting the people throughout Israel, especially in light of Iran's growing war threats.

Iran's shower of missiles last week against U.S. soldiers in Iraq could just as easily have been aimed at Israel. In fact, Iran's radical, murderous mullahs have already fired on the Jewish state. They continually threaten to eradicate Jewish people from the face of the earth.

U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo made it clear last week that the U.S. is reversing decades of grievously anti-Israel U.S. policy. In a statement, Pompeo declared that Israeli settlements in the disputed territories known as Judea and Samaria/the West bank "don't inherently violate international law."

That's HUGE! It creates what Prime Minister Netanyahu is calling "a window of opportunity." But he warned that time is short. The window opened, Netanyahu said, "but it could close."

NOW is the time for President Trump to endorse Israeli sovereignty in the Jordan Valley. A formal announcement by the Trump Administration could literally mean life and death for the Israeli people.
