Danger Signal On Trump Peace Plan

Israelis voted yesterday, but the outcome is still up in the air. As I write, with 90% of votes counted, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud party is behind—but the margin is razor-thin.

Neither Likud nor its leading competitor, the Blue and White party, have a clear path forward to form a ruling majority for a new government.

Pray for Israel in this time of post-election uncertainty—especially for God’s hand of protection against Israel’s enemies who may attack during this time of post-vote uncertainty.

Your prayers are needed, too, because in the days to come, we'll witness more drama--and danger--for Israel.

That’s because President Trump’s long-awaited peace plan is due out soon. He promised to release it after Israeli elections. But alarming news about the peace proposal just came out of Israel.

See more below and sign our crucial petition urging President Trump to recognize Israel's God-given and legal right to its land--including the so-called West Bank. Sign the "Israeli Sovereignty in Judea and Samaria!" petition now!

Act immediately! We must send this petition to the President just as soon as possible because his peace plan is due out shortly. And see below for disturbing news about what may be in it! -Mat

Two respected Israeli politicians who served in Netanyahu's cabinet issued a strong warning in the past few days about the forthcoming Trump peace plan.

They claim the proposal will divide Jerusalem and create a Palestinian state on the so-called West Bank—land God promised to the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

If their warning is true, the Trump peace plan will be a security nightmare and a recipe for disaster.

Which is why you and I must call on the president now to recognize Israel's God-given and legal right to its biblical heartland. The world calls it the West Bank, but it is territory God promised to Israel and land known for millennia as Judea and Samaria.

+  +  Grave mistake

Now let me be clear. I personally believe that Israel has never had a better friend than Donald Trump.

  • The president has stood strong with Israel in the face of anti-Semitic attacks at the UN.
  • He made history by recognizing Jerusalem as Israel's capital.
  • And he recognized Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights.

But if reports are true, the president may be about to make a grave mistake. And that's why I urge you to join me in urging the president to, instead, make a crucial and courageous decision: recognize Israeli sovereignty over the disputed West Bank--Israel's biblical heartland.

+  +  Carving up Holy Land in doomed bid for peace

Known for centuries as Judea and Samaria, the so-called West Bank is territory that belongs to Israel as a matter of law and, most importantly, divine promise.

But it's also land that Palestinian Arabs claim for their state of "Palestine."

And if two former Netanyahu cabinet members--Naftali Bennett and Ayelet Shaked--are correct, the White House peace plan will carve up the Holy Land in a doomed bid for peace.

+  +  This is why "land for peace" won't work

Here's why "land for peace"—also known as the "two-state solution”—won't work. Put simply, Israel can't make peace with a party that wants to destroy the Jewish state.

If that’s seems hard to believe, consider this from our small book, Why the Two-State Solution Won't Work . . . But What Could:

“The Palestinian Authority makes no attempt to educate its people towards peace and coexistence with Israel,” reports Palestinian Media Watch, an Israeli group which monitors Palestinian society, including radio, television and textbooks.

“On the contrary, from every possible platform it repeatedly rejects Israel's right to exist, presents the conflict as a religious battle for Islam, depicts the establishment of Israel as an act of imperialism, and perpetuates a picture of the Middle East, both verbally and visually, in which Israel does not exist at all. Israel's destruction is said to be both inevitable and a Palestinian obligation.”

Let me give you a few examples...

  • Palestinian schools drill grievance, hate, and militancy against Israel into young minds. One Palestinian textbook urges students to recite: “I will sacrifice my blood to saturate the ground and the noble will cast the thief out of my country and destroy what remains of the foreigners.”
  • The TV station run by Fatah, the dominant party within the PLO, offered more fighting words in a music video declaring: "I will not calm down until I see that the Zionist has left [my land]."
  • And the official Palestinian Authority radio station repeats the theme, telling listeners in a song:

"O occupiers, leave my land...Leave, leave, leave;
The day is coming, the day is coming when you will leave
And Palestine will return to being the bride of the Arabs...
I'm prepared to sacrifice my blood for [Palestine].
