Trump's Peace Plan Needs This to Succeed

The Israeli/Arab conflict is more than a century old—it predates the birth of modern Israel itself. But there's one step President Trump can and must take to drive prospects for peace skyward.

You'll be surprised at what it is. It's based on a simple idea: peace is only possible when it's based on truth. And one truth has been ignored for far too long.

The Trump Peace Plan is due out after Israeli elections take place on September 17. And there's one thing the plan needs to be successful—to bring true peace.

I think it will surprise you.

With your help now we can press the Trump administration to take this one step which—despite the "wisdom of the world"—offers the best prospect for peace.

The good news is that the Trump White House may be close to making this move already. U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman sent shock waves across the Middle East in June when he said . . .

"Under certain circumstances, I think Israel has the right to retain some, but unlikely all, of the West Bank." U.S. Middle East peace envoy Jason Greenbalt concurred, saying, "I support his comments."

This is a game-changing start! The so-called "West Bank"—better known as Judea and Samaria—is the territory on Israel's eastern half bordered by the Jordan River. And it's at the heart of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict.

+ + Israel's biblical heartland

Palestinians call this disputed territory "Israeli-occupied land" and claim it for their new state of "Palestine."

But Judea and Samaria (a.k.a. the West Bank) is Israel's biblical heartland. It's where the kings of Judah and Israel ruled, where prophets announced God's Word and where Jesus met the Samaritan woman at the well.

This is land that belongs to the Jewish people as a matter of history, law, and most importantly, divine promise. But President Trump has yet to weigh in on Israel's right to Judea and Samaria (the West Bank).

Which is why he must hear from good friends of Israel like you right away. And why I'm asking you to sign a critical, time-sensitive "Israeli Sovereignty in Judea and Samaria!" petition to the President.

+ + Israel's land based on history, law and God's promise

This petition calls on President Trump to include in his peace plan a recognition that the so-called "West Bank" is, in fact . . .

  • Land God God promised to the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob
  • Land in which much of biblical history took place
  • Land given to the Jewish people under international law after World War I

Making that recognition would be a huge and historic step. But the President needs to hear from you and me right away because the White House peace plan is coming out soon—possibly in October once Israeli elections are over and a new government is formed.

Please sign the Israeli Sovereignty in Judea and Samaria! petition now!

As you do, I ask you to make a generous gift to help us fight for Israel on Capitol Hill, across America, and in the Holy Land. CIDI works every day to bless and defend Israel. But we're only able to do so because of friends like you.

+ + No peace without truth

Jason Greenblatt, one of the Trump peace plan architects, is absolutely correct: "Peace can ONLY be based on truth."

And that's why it's so crucial for President Trump—in pursuit of peace—to state the truth. He must acknowledge Israel's just, lawful and legitimate claim to its biblical heartland, Judea and Samaria—a.k.a. the West Bank.

But time is short. The peace plan will come out soon and we must rush these petitions to the White House right away! Act now by signing the Israeli Sovereignty in Judea and Samaria! petition. And I thank you in advance for your generous gift. Your partnership is appreciated!

May the God of Israel bless you and keep you and lift up His face upon you today!

Together for Israel,
