But today, thanks to President Trump's bold leadership, you and I just celebrated the one-year anniversary of the U.S. embassy's historic grand opening in Jerusalem. That milestone—filled with prophetic significance—reversed a 70-year-old American mistake.

And the President thrilled friends of Israel like you and me in March when he recognized the Jewish state's sovereignty over the Golan Heights. Trump's move bucked international opinion—but it was a crucial step to support Israel's security. And it reversed a 52-year-old American mistake.

Bursting with gratitude, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu thanked President Trump for recognizing the Golan. "Mr. President," the prime minister said, "Israel has never had a better friend than you."

Israeli newspaper Haaretz just quoted a former top official at the UN nuclear monitor. He says Iran may develop weapons-grade enriched uranium in "perhaps half a year, seven to eight months maximum, if they put everything into it."

It's crucial that you and I stand with Israel now. But to do that effectively, our pro-Israel voice must be more forceful and persuasive than ever.

The guard is changing inside the Democratic party, and its future now looks more like Rashida Tlaib—the anti-Israel firebrand from Michigan—than Chuck Schumer—the aging defender of Israel in the Senate.

Too many Democrats now treat America's best friend more like a rogue state than what it is—the one true democracy in the Middle East.

A profound shift is taking place inside the Democratic party. Love for Israel is growing cold. And it's happening fast.

But this trend is not confined to Democrats. A growing number of young Republicans and evangelicals are also less likely to wave the Israeli flag.
