To Senate Majority Leader John Thune, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, and all members of the 119th United States Senate:
VOTE NO on the Iran War Powers Acts
The illegitimate Islamic regime that has held the Iranian people, Israel, and much of the world in a state of terror has almost been eradicated.
For the first time in our lifetimes, there is a clear possibility for peace in the Middle East. But that lofty goal will never be achieved if Congress passes the Iran War Powers Act.
For 47 years, this regime has brutalized its own people:
- Iranian women have been stoned to death for not wearing a hijab.
- Iranian girls have been raped to death for daring to wear western clothing.
- Iranian Christians are tortured and imprisoned for their faith.
- Tens of thousands of unarmed, nonviolent Iranians were massacred in the two short months between December 28, 2025, and February 28, 2026.
For 47 years, this despotic regime has been the force behind nearly every single Islamic terror attack around the globe, including, but not limited to:
- The 1979 hostage crisis.
- The 1983 Beirut Embassy bombing.
- The 9/11 attacks in the U.S.
- The October 7 massacre in Israel.
- And is the primary support behind the Muslim Brotherhood, the Houthis, Hezbollah, and Hamas.
This Islamic terror regime, which has threatened the world from the heart of Tehran for the last 47 years, is nearly broken.
Tying President Trump and the U.S. military’s hands now would only serve to prop up this genocidal regime.
As an American voter and concerned taxpayer, I hereby condemn Congress’ attempts to restrict America’s ability to quickly and effectively defeat the Iranian terror regime, and I demand you VOTE NO on any War Powers Act which would prevent the United States from finishing the job in Iran.
Signed,
