To Speaker Mike Johnson, House Majority Leader Steve Scalise, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, Senate Majority Leader John Thune, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, and all members of Congress:

The election of Zohran Mamdani as mayor of New York City is a warning shot to America. It shows the growing political muscle of the American Muslim community, which includes radical elements eager to impose Sharia law on our land.

Under cruel Islamic Sharia, religious freedom, freedom of speech, and freedom of conscience are all eliminated. Apostates are killed, competing religions are banned or relegated to subservience, and dissent is crushed, all in the name of Allah.

For this reason, I am asking you, as an elected leader charged with upholding the U.S. Constitution, to lead the way in acting against this real and present danger. Specifically, will you please support the following, whether by law, executive action, or public advocacy?

Ban Sharia, which asserts higher authority than the Constitution.
Ban the radical Muslim Brotherhood, which supports Sharia.
Jail or deport radical imams who advocate the violent overthrow of America.
Reject so-called “Islamophobia” label, which radical Muslims use to silence legitimate criticism.
Call on Muslims to repudiate violence against non-Muslims and the killing of Jews.
