To Speaker Mike Johnson, House Majority Leader Steve Scalise, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, Senate Majority Leader John Thune, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, and all members of Congress:

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am disturbed and angry to learn that the Sharia-governed authoritarian state of Qatar, a supposed ally of America, is waging cultural jihad against our land by pouring billions into American higher education. All to Islamize America . . . and demonize Israel.

The U.S. Department of Education reports that Qatar has given $9 billion to colleges and universities — more than any other nation. Charles Asher Small, founder of the Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy, says, “US universities taking Qatari money averaged 300 percent more antisemitic incidents.”

A leading patron of the Muslim Brotherhood, Qatar’s largesse drives forward the Muslim Brotherhood’s agenda to, in its words, wage a “grand jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within.”

Congress must act. I am asking you to prioritize and push these three must-pass measures:

1. S. 4424 / H.R. 8559 — Defending American Research Act (cuts federal funding to schools that take donations from Qatar and other countries of concern like China).

2. S. 4423 / H.R. 8558 — No Branch Campuses in Hostile Countries Act (conditions federal funding on certification that schools do not operate branch campuses in Qatar and other countries of concern).

3. H.R. 1048 — Deterrent Act (bolsters reporting requirements for gifts to universities from foreign nations. Passed the House and awaiting Senate action).

Please do all in your authority to protect America from improper foreign influence by supporting and pressing for final passage of all three bills. Thank you for your staunch support of Israel, the Jewish people, and American security!
