LET MY PEOPLE PRAY!

I am angered at the discriminatory and unjust Temple Mount “status quo” that bans Jews from praying at the Jewish people’s most sacred site. It is even more outrageous since the Biden administration is aggressively supporting the unconscionable and unfair restriction on Israel.

Team Biden branded Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir’s uneventful 13-minute Temple Mount walk “unacceptable.” And it went further by later announcing that Jewish prayer on the Temple Mount is likewise “unacceptable” because it violates the “historic status quo.”

This bigoted status quo rule, rooted in Ottoman Empire edicts from the mid-1800s, has no place in the modern world. Jews are NOT second-class citizens, and especially not in their own nation.

Please speak out and act on behalf of the right of Jews — and Christians, as well — to freely visit and pray at the Temple Mount.

There should not be one rule for Muslims and another for Jews and Christians.
